What you're buying
2.8–3 mm full-grain bovine leather, water-repellent. PU sole, direct-injected (no welt stitching to fail). Cambrelle lining. Removable anatomical antibacterial insole. EU sizing 32–52, slightly wide last; size down if between.
What to expect
The M77 is a structured boot. It needs 2–3 weeks of regular wear to break in fully. The leather softens and conforms to your foot in that period; this is the trade for a boot that lasts 8+ years rather than 1–2. We have a 14-day break-in guide here.
Water-repellent, not waterproof. There's no Gore-Tex membrane. The leather is the barrier — kept conditioned, it handles rain, mud, snow. Designed for re-conditioning every 6 months.

I've had my Samelin boots for over a year, and they've taken a serious beating—rain, mud, concrete, you name it. Still look good, still feel good.
The leather is thick, the stitching is on point, and they actually get more comfortable the more I wear them. Feels like a secret I almost don't want to share.
Never heard of Samelin before, but I took a chance. Glad I did. These boots feel like something my grandfather would've worn.
I've hiked, worked, and even gone out in them, and they never let me down. Plus, they don't look like some overdesigned tactical gear—just classic, solid boots.
