About Kickin' Boots

KickinBoots is run by Kratt Labs OÜ, a small Estonian retail company based in Tartu. We sell three lines of European-made footwear directly from the factory floor: Samelin combat and hiking boots (made 5 km from our office), OmaKing/TOKU sandals (also Estonian-made), and Kira Sustainable Chelsea boots (EU-made, sustainability-focused).

What we do

We're a multi-vendor DTC store. That means: instead of stocking inventory and adding the usual 60–80% retail markup, we operate as the public-facing storefront for a small group of Estonian and EU producers. They make. We sell. The price you see is roughly 40% below traditional retail because there's no middleman layer between the factory and you.

Most "European heritage" boot brands sold online today source from Asian factories under European-sounding names. Samelin is the opposite: an Estonian factory making boots in Estonia, owned and run by Estonians, that has been doing this since 1945.

Samelin AS — Boot manufacturer in Tartu. Founded 1945 from the merger of four Tartu shoemaking firms (Vaapo, Edu, Pari, Säde). Holds NATO AQAP 2110, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015 certifications. Supplies the Norwegian, Estonian, Latvian, Finnish, and German armed forces with combat boots, hiking boots, and work boots. Civilian models on KickinBoots include the M77, 511, 5531 Tundra, 553P Tundra, 550 Lichene, 517 Aviator, and 791 Tarkovsky.

OmaKing & TOKU — Estonian sandal makers. Hand-cut and hand-finished leather sandals, summer collections.

Kira Sustainable — EU-based Chelsea boot maker focused on responsibly-sourced leather and minimalist design.
